Agreement
By using BushelIQ, you agree to these terms. If you're using BushelIQ on behalf of a firm or organization, you're agreeing on their behalf too. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
What BushelIQ is
BushelIQ is a browser-based eDiscovery software platform that provides tools for privilege log generation, document production, Bates stamping, redaction, and load file creation. It is a software tool, not a law firm. Nothing produced by BushelIQ constitutes legal advice.
Acceptable use
You may use BushelIQ for legitimate legal and eDiscovery work. You may not:
- Use BushelIQ to process documents you're not authorized to access.
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits or access controls.
- Use BushelIQ in a way that violates any law or court order.
- Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the service.
- Use automated scripts to bulk-query the service in a way that degrades performance for other users.
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
AI-generated output
BushelIQ uses AI to generate privilege log entries and assist with other tasks. AI output can be incorrect, incomplete, or misleading. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before using it in any legal proceeding, filing, or production. BushelIQ is not liable for errors in AI-generated output.
Subscriptions and billing
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly (or annually if you select annual billing) via Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel. There are no long-term contracts. You can cancel at any time from your billing portal.
If a payment fails, we'll retry. If payment remains uncollected, your account will be downgraded to the free tier. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at hello@busheliq.com if you have a billing issue.
Cancellation
Cancel anytime. When you cancel, your subscription remains active through the end of the current billing period. After that, your account reverts to the free tier. We don't charge cancellation fees.
Free tier
The free tier gives you 3 uses per tool with no credit card required. Free tier usage is tracked by IP address. We reserve the right to adjust free tier limits.
No warranty
BushelIQ is provided "as is." We make no warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy, reliability, or fitness of the service for any particular purpose. eDiscovery work involves professional judgment. BushelIQ is a tool to assist that judgment, not replace it.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BushelIQ is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
Intellectual property
You own the documents you upload and the output you download. We don't claim any rights to your content. The BushelIQ platform, interface, and software are our property.
Changes to the service
We may update or discontinue features of the service. We'll do our best to give advance notice of significant changes. We may update these terms; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of the state where BushelIQ is incorporated.
