BushelIQ ("we," "our," or "us") operates busheliq.com and the BushelIQ platform. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information from users of our services.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you subscribe, we collect your email address, billing information, and payment details processed through Stripe. We do not store payment card numbers.

Usage Data: We log tool usage including IP address, tool name, timestamp, and request metadata to enforce free tier limits and monitor platform performance.

Uploaded Documents: Documents you upload for processing are transmitted to our servers and to Anthropic's API for AI analysis. We do not store uploaded document content after processing is complete.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to: provide and operate the BushelIQ platform; process payments and manage subscriptions; enforce free tier usage limits; monitor and improve platform performance; and communicate with you about your account.

3. Document Confidentiality

Documents uploaded to BushelIQ are processed in memory and transmitted to Anthropic's Claude API for analysis. We do not retain document contents after processing. Users are responsible for ensuring they have authorization to upload any documents to third-party services. Do not upload documents containing information subject to court-ordered confidentiality restrictions without appropriate authorization.

Account and subscription data is retained for the duration of your subscription and for 12 months following cancellation for billing and compliance purposes. Usage logs are retained for 90 days. Uploaded document content is not retained after processing.

We implement industry-standard security measures including HMAC token authentication, rate limiting, and CORS restrictions. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at hello@busheliq.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify subscribers of material changes via email. Continued use of the platform following notice of changes constitutes acceptance.
